Many countries do not have the same political freedoms that we enjoy in Israel. Imagine what would happen if we lost our democratic freedoms and were ruled by a dictator with complete control over every aspect of our lives. How might a dictator change the following things?
1. Elections:
-A dictator might change elections by making himself win or having himself make the decision (maybe based on bias) and not the people. -Vincenzo F.
2. The mass media (newspapers, televison, movies, radio):
-He might control all the stories that can be shown in the newspaper, especially if they talk about him (if in a good way, he'd let you print the story; but if in a bad way, he'd destroy the story.) -Vincenzo F. 3. Schools:
-All schools might have uniforms for the students (and maybe even the teachers) and he would control what the teachers teach and what the students learn, especially if it is about him. -Vincenzo F.
